A Peugeot model number alone does not identify its battery. Requirements can differ between generations, petrol and diesel engines, and versions with or without start-stop.

Use the production year and exact engine details to narrow the application. PureTech, HDi or BlueHDi descriptions are useful information, but do not assume every vehicle carrying the same engine badge uses an identical battery.

Keep the correct battery technology

If your Peugeot requires EFB or AGM, select a compatible replacement that meets the specified requirements. A conventional battery is not a suitable substitute simply because its dimensions match.
